The Undertaker recently addressed where he stands on a possible in-ring return.
The Deadman hasn’t stepped back inside the squared circle since beating AJ Styles in a Boneyard match at WWE WrestleMania 36. He originally had a hard time accepting that his in-ring career was over.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise since he has devoted his entire life to the wrestling business. It took some time for him to adapt to different roles and still manage to contribute in a non-wrestling capacity.

“You never know, like when they’re going to call you to, like I couldn’t have a match anymore, but I can come in there and punch somebody in the face or chokeslam them or something. You definitely don’t want to look like a pile of crap.”

The Phenom further explained why he feels he has been overexposed since his retirement.
“I’m able now to obviously have a little more personality and not be so Deadman with the character. So that’s fun. I think sometimes I get a little overexposed for not being able to go actually and have a match. It just becomes difficult. Your naysayers are like, ‘Oh, well, you got the old man out there doing stuff.’ You know, it’s like, well, there must be a reason they keep asking, right?”

The Undertaker allowed WWE celebrity wrestler to use his iconic move
Speaking on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Award-winning singer Jelly Roll thanked The Undertaker for permitting him to use the Chokeslam during his matches in WWE.
“Which was all Austin Theory. But once again, the greatest heels make the babyfaces look incredible. That’s all Austin. I mean, that dude’s a seller and a half. But he was the dude I wanted to Undertaker style it, you know, because that’s what I grew up watching. Throw the arm over, kind of like I did Logan in the actual match. Thank you Taker for giving me that nod.”

Jelly Roll isn’t the only one, as Mark Callaway gave Dani Raye his blessing to use the Hells Gate submission maneuver.
With his in-ring days over now, the Phenom intends to share his wisdom with the next generation.
