Jacob Fatu’s original WWE name revealed

Jacob Fatu made his WWE debut in 2024. He came to the aid of Solo Sikoa and formed the final piece of The Bloodline 2.0. Years into his WWE run, he has revealed the original plans for his ring name and theme song.

The Samoan Werewolf recently appeared on IGN’s YouTube channel to promote and play WWE 2K26. During the chat, he revealed that the company wanted him to debut as ‘Caesar Sikoa’. However, it was only a pitch and was not finalized. In a meeting, Triple H clarified that the former United States Champion would go by his real-life moniker in the promotion.

“My name was actually supposed to be Caesar Sikoa, I mean, and I was next to uh Hunter [Triple H], you know, ‘Did you hear your music yet?’ I was like, ‘No, not yet.’ I was like, ‘I don’t even know what my name’s going to be.’ He turned around like ‘You going to be Jacob Fatu’, you know what I mean?” Fatu said.

Power Struggle Between Roman & Triple H!

Caesar means a ‘successor’, and the storyline at the time of Fatu’s debut suggested that he would be next in line to lead The Bloodline 2.0 after Solo Sikoa. However, Fatu gradually became a fan favorite and adopted a babyface gimmick, feuding with Sikoa.

Jacob Fatu will battle Drew McIntyre next week

Jacob Fatu is sick of Drew McIntyre’s antics now. The Scottish Warrior cost The Samoan Werewolf his Elimination Chamber qualifying matches twice. On the latest edition of SmackDown, McIntyre cost Fatu a potential win over Trick Williams.

The feud has reached a boiling point. What was seemingly supposed to be a WrestleMania 42 match will take place next Friday, as Fatu and McIntyre square off in a singles bout. However, there is still a chance that the contest would somehow be ruined, leading to a showdown on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
