Drew McIntyre is currently involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on Friday Night SmackDown. The latest edition of the blue brand saw General Manager Nick Aldis suspend The Scottish Warrior for causing chaos in the main event match between The American Nightmare and Aleister Black.

While the Scotsman is suspended from the Friday Night Show, speaking in an interview on a Click and Tell podcast, former WWE champion and his real-life friend, Jinder Mahal, talked about their faction, 3MB, which involved Drew, himself, and Heath Slater.

Mahal expressed that now their stable is mainly nostalgia for fans. He believes that, after the heights all three of them have reached in their careers lately, they must reunite as 3MB one more time.

“I think now enough time has passed where it’s kind of people have nostalgia. They kind of miss 3MB, and they remember the good times, but at that time, we didn’t have a whole lot of support, not like now. But I think the band has to reform. Maybe have a reunion tour of some sort,” Mahal said. (H/T: WrestlePurists)

Drew McIntyre lost another chance to capture the WWE title
The Scottish Warrior and The American Nightmare have been embroiled in a heated rivalry for months, and the hostility between them is far from ending.

McIntyre and Rhodes faced each other in a title rematch at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI. However, nothing changed as Cody once again emerged at the top, defeating the Scotsman clean and retaining his strap.

That said, many thought that it was the finale for their feud. The Undisputed Champion himself stated on SmackDown that he is officially moving on from McIntyre and is looking for a new challenger.

But Drew wasn’t done as he interfered during Cody’s main event match on the blue brand against Aleister Black, took out the referee, and ended the bout controversially. Then, together with Black, he attacked Rhodes until Damian Priest made the save, causing chaos, which ultimately led Nick Aldis to take the severe step of suspending the former champion.

With the new twist that unfolded on WWE SmackDown, all eyes are on Triple H and his creative team, and what plans they have for The Chosen One.
